Brief Description about the Project:

  • This study is collaboration between the University of California San Francisco and St. John’s Research Institute, funded by the US National Institute of Mental Health. This cluster RCT was designed to implement and evaluate an intervention to primary health centres on outcomes in patients dually diagnosed with mental illness and cardiovascular disease/diabetes in 50 Primary Health Clinics in rural Karnataka.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Blood collection
  • Centrifuge of samples
  • Proper storage of samples
  • Travel to Ramanagara district daily

Key Skills:

  • Provent data entry work experience as a data entry operator
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Keeping information confidential
  • Ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
  • Qualification should be PUC or graduation; additional computer training or certification will be an asset

Specific Activities:

  • Account data by inputting text and numerical based information from source documents within time limits
  • Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions
