Brief Description about the Project:

  • The study is to evaluate the impact of a culturally-specific intervention developed for nursing students and ward staff in various government and private hospitals

Core Responsibilities:

  • This post involves conducting electronic tablet-administered interviews

Key Skills:

  • Ability to establish rapport and work effectively with individuals of different ethnicities, socio-economic status, caste, gender and sexual orientation
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills & a team player
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Kannada and English
  • Research experience
  • Previous research interviewing experience
  • Tech savvy
  • Good knowledge of working with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in tracking patients or study participants
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Willingness to travel to different institutions in Bangalore and cities around Bangalore

Specific Activities:

  • To administer tablet-based assessment questionnaires to the participants
  • To track, make follow up calls & schedule participants
  • To explain & administer consent forms to potential participants after screening them
  • To network with the partnering sites for logistical support
  • To synchronize the tablets to the server
  • To maintain study logs
  • Documentation
