Brief Desciption about the Project:

  • SJRI aims at Implementation Research in India (Karnataka State) towards accelerating scale-up of Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC)

Core Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to epidemiological research projects in the fields of non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases and maternal and child health within the division
  • Assist in training of research/project assistants
  • Plan, organize and implement health programmes
  • Complement clinical work of the division

Specific Activities:

  • Leadership, capacity building and mentoring of research health personnel and project assistants
