ICMR One-Week Course in Health Research Methodology and Evidence Based Medicine (November 17 - 22, 2014)

We from the Division of Clinical Research & Training (DCRT) at St. John's have been conducting courses in Health Research Methods, Evidence Based Medicine and Data Management supported by the NIH, USA, for 5 years as part of the Centre of Excellence Program.

 

In the last 6 years, we have trained close to 1,000 health professionals that include, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, ethics committee members, industry professionals, post graduate students, study coordinators, regulatory officials and health policy makers from India and other countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Kenya, Tanzania and the UK.

 

This one-week course in Health Research Methods & Evidence Based Medicine is being held for health professionals including post graduate & PhD students by the Division of Clinical Research & Training in collaboration with McMaster University, Canada.

 

We will use different teaching / learning methods such as lectures, journal clubs, demonstrative statistics practical and group discussions. The faculty are experienced researchers and teachers from India & abroad.

 

At the end of the workshop, a certificate of participation will be given to deserving candidates who have attended all sessions.

 

CME credits will be awarded to eligible candidates.

 

Concession Criteria

  • 25% discount in the registration fees for students/ trainees, candidates from our network institutions
  • For 3 or more candidates from the same institution
