This study is a part of multi-centric proposal, where we intend to evaluate the burden of vitamin B12 deficiency and identify the factors (dietary and genetic) associated with low levels of vitamin B12. This project also aims to develop a state of art stable isotope labeled vitamin B12 absorption method and evaluate other non-invasive methods for defining functional vitamin B12 deficiency.
