Brief Description about the Project:

Prevalence and aetiology of hearing impairment in pre- primary /primary school children, exploration of health beliefs about hearing impairment among staff/children in these settings and integration of these into the existing school health programme: A mixed methods study

Key Skills

Ability to conduct a field survey and record data in the proformas in English and Kannada

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform community based survey and record the data

Specific Activities

• School visits and interviewing study respondents
• Scheduling follow up visits
• Follow up of respondents with hearing problems and referral to project team for further assessments
