Lab Technician (DFS ETH Study)

Brief Description about the Project/Post

Basic knowledge about setting up biochemical assays' for research projects. The technician is expected to draw blood under aseptic conditions for all assigned project participants and prepare biological samples for processing and storage. Must have the ability to understand and follow standard protocols and be willing to learn new techniques. Have a working knowledge of MS office applications. Assist the Project Manager, Research Associate, and Field Coordinator with procurement and shipment of all laboratory requirements and maintain all laboratory data and logs. Should be willing to travel to project sites and maintain a flexible work schedule.

Lab Technician

Position Starting: 01st February 2022

No. of Vacancy: One

Salary: Rs. 25,000/-pm

Duration: Initial period 6 months, extension possible up to 2 years subject to satisfactory             performance.

Preferred Qualifications: B.Sc. MLT/DMLT

Knowledge and Abilities:

 

  • Experience in Phlebotomy ·
  • Ability to understand SOP and standard protocols
  • Working knowledge of MS office applications ·
  • Willing to learn new techniques ·
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented ·
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Kannada and English ·
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule ·
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Blood sample collection and processing ·

  • QC procedures per developed standardized protocols
