Brief Description about the Project 

The Center has twin tracks. The clinical track explores structured early clinical intervention protocols and developing case identification methods that can be upscaled into public health systems. The Research track involves evaluations of the above while also understanding the biological underpinnings of Autism.

Nurse Junior Fellow

Position Starting: 01^st April 2023

No. of Vacancy: One

Preferred Qualifications: B.Sc or M.Sc in Nursing

Salary: Rs. 25,000/-pm

(To be enhanced after a probationary period to the satisfaction of the core team of CARE-ADD. Those with exceptional achievements will qualify for higher starting salary. Higher salary will be especially considered for those who are willing to formally agree to stay through project extensions as they occur. Longer term academic pursuits from within CARE-ADD would be one of the criteria that will be used to determine remuneration over time)

Language: English, Kannada. (Knowledge of at least one more Indian language is desirable)

Experience: Minimum Experience of 1 year required, though fresher’s may also be considered.

• Knowledge of drawing blood sample form young children and their parents.
• Knowledge of typical developmental trajectory.
• Documentation and organisation skills
• Team interaction, collaboration, co-ordination skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Approaching Participants for research studies.
• Recruiting participants for the different study.
• Liaising with MRI / EEG research team for assessments and scheduling their appointments for the same. 
• Communication with families.
• Liaising with other teams for any recruitment needs.
• Ethics especially confidentiality
• Basic computer skills and maintaining e-records
• Maintaining data of clinical observations, assessments and interventions in a research worthy manner under supervision of senior members of the team.
• Any other research/clinical task allotted by the PI/Head, CAREADD.
