Brief Description about the Project
Developing & Implementing effective intervention delivery strategies of the Anemia Mukt Bharat program 2.0 to reduce prevalence of anemia amongst vulnerable populations in selected districts of India-An Implementation research study Aims to co-design, optimize, implement and evaluate a model of implementation strategies to deliver the Anemia Mukt Bharat 2.0interventions across target beneficiaries and reduce prevalence of anemia to ≤20% in 2.5 years among children 6-59 months, adolescent girls (10-19 years), WRA (20-49 years), pregnant women.
Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical)

Preferred Qualifications: Post graduate Degree or PhD in Food and Nutrition or Lifesciences and Pharmacology with experience (three years) in conducting large scale intervention studies.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years
Age Limit: 40 Years
Preferred Language: Kannada Is Must English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi
Location: Bangalore
Salary: Rs. 87,100 /- per month
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of the project, including planning and coordination of day-to-day project activities in collaboration with investigators and project teams at Koppal and SJRI.
- Oversee the data collection process and implement stringent data quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) measures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with study protocols.
- Provide training, technical guidance, and mentorship to field investigators and project staff to ensure uniformity, quality, and ethical conduct of research activities.
- Undertake data management, statistical analysis, and interpretation of research findings using appropriate scientific methods and software.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, technical documents, and presentations for submission to ICMR, collaborating institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to scientific writing, including preparation of manuscripts, policy briefs, and dissemination materials for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise and mentor project staff to maintain high standards of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research integrity.
- Maintain project documentation, financial records, budgets, and deliverables in accordance with ICMR and institutional guidelines.
- Facilitate coordination among Implementation Support, Program Learning, and Outcome Monitoring teams to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Organize training workshops, orientation programs, and review meetings for field staff and district-level stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel extensively to field sites for monitoring, supervision, and coordination activities.
