Brief Description about the Project:
The Secure Ultrasound Project is a multi-centric, multi-disciplinary project involving SJRI and IISc in India and the Cranfield University from the UK. The aim of the project is to develop a low cost, secure, point of care ultrasound imaging system with guided image capture and a remote diagnostic service for prenatal care in India.
> The candidate should work in the domain of Research, Teaching and Project Management and other related work.
> Research - write scientific papers, apply for Grants with renowned funding agencies and be able to innovate
> Teaching - be able to take lectures to masters and undergraduate courses related to Informatics
> Project Management - Be able to undertake various steps involved in a research project, including planning, organization, implementation, resource management, drafting reports and completion
> The key responsibility is to work with the team in developing Artificial Intelligent (AI) approaches (e.g. machine learning, deep learning) for 2D and 3D ultrasound medical image segmentation and registration to develop a cloud based diagnostic system
> To manage the research project, ensuring project deliverables are delivered in line with the project plan
> Day-to-day research and outreach coordinator for the consortium
> Others - this includes conference presentations, organizing training courses, ad-hoc activities
> Excellent communication skills and ability to work with other employees, clinical teams, and vendors
> Motivated self-starter personality
> Able to work independently and within a team
