Brief Description about the Project 

This is a multi centric study funded by the DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance to know the effects of air pollution on the growing lungs of school children. St John’s Medical College is one of the centres and we have to enrol 1200 school children from Bangalore City and administer questionnaire, assess lung function, collect blood sample and follow them up for the next 4 years.

Salary: Rs.30,000/-pm

Duration: 01 Year From 4 Months

Preferred Language: English, Kannada

Preferred Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing, BSc-Nursing

Experience: Experienced, (Minimum 1 years of research experience)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Consenting subjects to participate in the study Participant recruitment and follow ups
• Data entry, blood draw, sample processing, storing samples, performing lung function tests on subjects.

Skill required: Working knowledge of basic computer applications like MS office
