Course Information
You may have already got a grant or research or project going on (or) you may be planning to get one started. This course will help you understand various categories of health research, different stages of grant management, diverse responsibilities of a researcher at various stages of grant management and basic competency requirements of a researcher during grant management.
This web-based course on ‘Grant Management for Health Researchers’ can be taken up at one’s own free time and convenience. It provides an opportunity for busy investigators who are unable to otherwise travel to learn and update their grant management skills.
The complete duration of this course is 1 hour but it can be completed over a period of one month.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, you will be able to:
1. Define and list different types of health research
2. Describe different types of researcher roles in grant management
3. Enumerate tasks for an investigator at various stages of the research cycle
4. List and explain basic competency requirements for an investigator

Who should attend
This online course is aimed at health researchers and social science researchers in their capacities as early career scientists, principal investigators or project managers.
Organization and Delivery
The course will be hosted and delivered online by St John’s Medical College and Research Institute. After successful registration, all participants will be provided with a ‘username’ and ‘password’. The course can then be accessed any time using a desktop, laptop or tablet.
Certification
Upon successful completion, all eligible participants will be awarded Course Completion certificate from St. John’s Research Institute, Bangalore
Course Fee
For participants from within India:
INR 1950/- plus 18% GST (Rs 1000/- plus 18% GST for intramural St. John's participants)
For participants from outside India:
