Workshop on Research Methods in Health for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals

Workshop Overview:

The workshop aims to strengthen research skills among nursing and allied health professionals and students (post-graduate) encouraging them to utilize research-generated knowledge in routine clinical practice. It presents an overview of research designs and statistical methods and provides a hands-on training on various stages of research from problem formulation to study design, data collection, data analysis and interpretation. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of conducting research

  • Plan, design and conduct a research study 

  • Communicate the study findings

Who should attend:

This workshop is primarily aimed at faculty and (postgraduate) students of nursing and allied health sciences and and others associated with health research. For more details please click on the course brochure below.

Organization & Delivery:

Course faculty will be from St John’s College of Nursing and from St John’s Medical College & Research Institute

Certification:

Upon successful completion, all eligible participants will be awarded 22 Credit Points from Karnataka State Nursing Council and Course Completion certificate from St. John’s Research Institute, Bangalore

Workshop Fee:

Before 20th March: Rs. 3,000/- (for students) & Rs. 4,000/- (for faculty) plus 18% GST
After 20th March: Rs. 4,000/- (for students) & Rs. 5,000/- (for faculty) plus 18% GST
