PhD at SJRI through Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE)

SJRI is currently recognized as Research Centre for the doctoral programme by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

Students registered will be guided by supervisors registered as guides under MAHE.  While students will have to conform to the rules and regulations of under MAHE, SJRI aims to ensure the highest quality and uniformity in academic standards for all admitted students. To fulfil this aim, students pursuing their doctoral programme at SJRI need to follow the Institute’s guidelines.

Notification of shortlisted candidates for entrance exam  19th June, 2021
Online Entrance Test 5th July, 2021 between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Notification of shortlisted candidates qualified for interview on website 14th July, 2021
Online interview 19th July, 2021 to 20th July 2021
Announcement of selected candidates on website 23rd July, 2021
Joining the doctoral program and fee payment 1st August 2021

* Online verification of documents will be done for selected candidates after the interview. Notarized, scanned documents should be sent prior to joining the doctoral programme

 SJRI reserves its rights in its sole discretion to re-schedule the test, without assigning any reasons thereof, and as warranted by the situation/circumstances.

Vacancies are available for the Doctoral Programme at SJRI for students with and without UGC-CSIR-NET JRF / ICMR-JRF / DBT-JRF Category 1 Fellowship (with a stipend for a period of 5 years). Candidates with JRF can apply throughout the year. All admissions are dependent on available positions with faculty. To apply candidates require a certificate of the eligible degree completed.
