Brief Description about the Project

a) To improve the anthropometric nutritional status of children 0.6-3y in a district of Himachal Pradesh through testing of an appropriate THR that meets all guidelines and nutrient requirements.

b) large scale implementation in 2 districts.

c) Capacity building for appropriate technologies within the ICDS system.

Field Monitor

No. of Vacancy: Two

Preferred Qualifications:Any graduate degree with experience in Monitoring or doing Field work in community.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of work Experience with Govt. Health / Women and Children department or 1 year experience in Monitoring or Field work in community.

Language: Hindi, English and any Local Language of Himachal

Salary: Rs. 25,000/-per month

Location: Shimla, Himachal Pradesh

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination between Government officials, project site and project team.
  • Organizing, monitoring and reporting of Quantitative surveys.
  • Organizing, Conducting and monitoring Acceptability study and qualitative interviews.
  • Monitoring and supervision in field implementation in 2 districts in Himachal Pradesh (Shimla & Solan) (Includes travel between districts).
  • Ensure data quality through regular checks, assist in data management, and prepare reports.
  • Training of field staff.
  • Imparting education of mothers and Anganwadi workers (child feeding and THR uptake).
  • Any other project requirements.
