Brief Description about the Project 

Seeking a dedicated and skilled Nutritionist to join our multidisciplinary research and clinical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting study participants, handling infants and children during assessments, and contributing to the preparation of scientific reports, manuscripts and publications.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience

• • Good technical, analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a research team.
  • Attention to detail, time management, systematic work approach.
  • Ability to draft and write manuscripts.
  • Experience in writing up project proposals for funding.

Language: English and Hindi

Salary: Rs. 46,398/-

Location: Bangalore

Roles and Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for overall activities of the research project at SJRI as well as at the field site in Shivamogga.

Key duties include:

· Conduct and support all data collection activities, fieldwork, participant interviews, surveys, and nutritional assessments.

· Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the project database and assist in maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

· Assist with monitoring the quality of data and identifying discrepancies or inconsistencies.

· Provide technical assistance in setting up and calibrating research instruments and tools.

· Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all project activities.

· Participate in regular field visits to monitor ongoing research activities and ensure adherence to research protocols.

· Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts for internal and external stakeholders.

· Assist in other studies and activities of the Division of Nutrition.
