Brief Description about the Project 

Project entitled "First-1000-Days of Life: Implementation Research for a District Model of Care in Karnataka, India."

This project aims to develop a model improving preconceptional care, care of the pregnant woman, intrapartum care, neonatal care and care of the infant in the first two years to meet the INAP targets in one district

Project Nurse III

Position Starting: 15th April, 2025

No. of Vacancy: Two

Employment status: Contract

Preferred Qualifications:  Degree/ Diploma in Nursing (International Board Certified Lactation Credential /IBCLC / training in lactation support preferred)

Experience: Minimum 6 months Experience in lactation counselling

Salary: Rs.35,560/-

Preferred Language: English, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to implement a comprehensive care model for the first 1000 days of life.
• Educate and support pregnant women, conduct check-ups, and coordinate interventions.
• Supervise and support health personnel to assist in labor, manage postpartum care,  neonatal care,
• Conduct field visits, engage with communities, and support mobile health initiatives in maternal and child health
• Maintain accurate records, collect data, and contribute to project meetings and analysis.
