Everything we do in medicine and healthcare has to be discovered and tested before it is put to use into regular practice. In this online course, you will learn how clinical trials are undertaken, how volunteer participants are protected, and how regulations are adhered to.
Who is this course for?
This course is targeted at health practitioners (including medical doctors, nurses, therapists, pharmacists and other allied health professionals), biomedical and public health researchers, ethics committee members, clinical trial coordinators and those working in the health/pharma industry who are interested in developing their skills and knowledge of clinical trials. It is a Basic Level course that aims to provide the foundational knowledge upon which one can build and develop their competence as a clinical research professional.
Course details
This online course can be taken up at one’s own free time and convenience. It provides an opportunity for busy practitioners, researchers and students who are unable to travel to learn and update their knowledge on Clinical Research and Clinical Trials. The total duration of this course is 6 hours, but it may be completed over a period of one month. Upon successful completion, participant will receive a Course Completion certificate from St John’s Research Institute.
Course organization and delivery
The course will be hosted and delivered online by St John’s Medical College and Research Institute. After successful registration, all participants will be provided with a ‘username’ and ‘password’. The course can then be accessed any time using a desktop, laptop or tablet.
