Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to our celebration of World Bioethics Day 2021!
We return after a gap during 2020 due to Covid19. In fact, the pandemic has made us more aware than ever before of our social responsibilities as a community and country, to promote and maintain health.
This year the theme chosen is Article 14 of UNESCO’s Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights - Social Responsibility and Health
As part of our celebrations, we invite all students of St John's (UG, PG, MPhil, PhD-all subjects) to participate in a competition based on the Theme.
In recognition of the heightened use of technology, the competition entries will be only Audio or Video expressions on the Theme. Send us a video file, photo shoot/digital art, or an audio file of a recited poem, original song or narration linked to the theme.
(Details of the competition are in the attached poster)
The last date for entries in Oct 22nd, 2021, and entries are to be sent to email@example.com
There will be prizes and certificates for the two best entries that will be screened and awarded at a special program on 29th October 2021 at the Friday Hospital meeting. Assoc. Director Rev. Dr. Charles Davis will speak on the occasion of World Bioethics Day 2021 and felicitate the awardees.
Please spread the word to encourage reflection on the theme and participation in large numbers.
