The effects of regular consumption of a multiple micronutrient fortified beverage on the micronutrient status of Indian School Children and on their mental and physical performance (Funded by: Cadbury, Kraft)

Details

This is a randomized, double blinded, controlled trial done in school children between 7 and 10 years of age for a period of 6 months. The primary objective is to assess the impact of regular consumption of a micronutrient fortified drink on improving the nutritional and micronutrient status in Indian school children and the secondary objective is to assess the efficacy of regular consumption of micronutrient fortified drink on the mental and physical domains of agility, alertness and motivation throughout the day.
