Primary Objective: To assess the effectiveness of video based directly observed treatment of a mobile phone adherence support intervention for Anti-tubercular treatment (ATT) against conventional DOT on treatment success in newly diagnosed patients with tuberculosis in South India in a randomized control trial (RCT).
Secondary Objective: To compare the proportions adherent to treatment between the two arms in the vDOTIND trial.
